A few weeks ago, several of the Vintage Style Council members came together for an afternoon of tea and an evening with the tiki gods!
VSC gal, Andrea C, opened her 1920’s home in Westwood Park (a small historic neighborhood in San Francisco) to the group and put together her take on a traditional tea, Hawaiian style. Passion fruit tea was paired with delicate finger sandwiches that included King’s Hawaiian roll sliders and ended with pineapple upside down cupcakes! All of the VSC gals were dressed in tiki attire styled from the 1940’s through the 1960’s.
Later that day, the VSC ladies' other halves were invited over to enjoy Andrea and her husband’s enchanted tiki bar, Cattarin’s Castaways. The group feasted on Hawaiian favorites, including Spam Masubi! Watch out for that Planter’s Punch... It packs a wallop!
