Vintage Gals Invade the California State Railroad Museum

Despite the sweltering heat, we donned our summer best and headed north to Sacramento. We rode First Class on the El Dorado car (built in 1924) of the Granite Rock No. 10 steam train. The wooden paneling and intricate glasswork were such charming details!

After that, we toured the California State Railroad Museum and soaked in more of the history of the area, especially its locomotive history. Finally, we stopped at Ten 22 for some nibbles and drinks. Fun was had by all!
