The history-loving Vintage Style Council ladies attended a well-guided tour of the Haas-Lilienthal House in San Francisco last weekend. The gorgeous Queen Anne-style Victorian home was full of so many details that we couldn't even see them all!
From its pocket doors to light fixtures to art glass windows - the Haas-Lilienthal house did not disappoint! We absolutely recommend the tour to anyone with an interest in vintage architecture! More information can be found here: http://www.sfheritage.org/haas-lilienthal-house/tours/
After the HL House, we went to the House of Prime Rib for libations. Opened in 1949, this traditional English style restaurant boasts classically masculine leather, wood detailing, and several fireplaces. Not our normal niche vintage bar, but they did serve our drinks with a shaker half full of the rest of our cocktails - so that was a novelty worth checking out!
